PEP Health participates in the AWS Summit London 2022

PEP Health was delighted to participate in the AWS Summit London demonstrating how its pioneering AI technology analyses patient experience and can improve care globally.

The event, which took place at ExCeL London, was packed with brand new and exclusive content, sessions, demos, and activities which allowed visitors to connect, collaborate, and learn about AWS.

PEP Health’s attendance at the AWS Summit follows the company being chosen to participate in the first-ever AWS Healthcare Accelerator – a programme that will support them to scale their operations in the United States. Two of the accelerator companies were asked to showcase at the event.

PEP Health is a social media listening tool which offers a radical new approach to collecting and analysing the views of patients on the health services they have received. In the UK, the technology represents a paradigm shift in how the NHS listens to patients and learns from their insights.

During the event, Mark Lomax, CEO of PEP Health, took to the stage to discuss what it is like to work with AWS as a healthcare start up.

Speaking afterwards, Mark said:

This is an incredible opportunity to showcase our technology to AWS leaders and peers and highlight how AI can help them deliver a superior patient experience. The technology can help organisations to uncover deep insights across the patient journey, understand the key drivers, and take action to improve them.

The AWS Summit started with keynote speeches from Dr. Werner Vogels, CTO of Amazon.com, and Darren Hardman, VP of AWS UKI, followed by numerous breakout sessions covering topics from artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to cloud operations, networking, global infrastructure, and security.
